Build with AI agents

Give a coding agent the Uploadfile skill and it can add uploads to your project with the right packages, environment, and code.

Install the skill

The skill is a single Markdown file. It tells an agent which packages to install, which environment variables to set, and which files to write for each framework, plus the mistakes to avoid.

Terminal
# Claude Code
mkdir -p .claude/skills/uploadfile
curl -fsSL https://www.uploadfile.dev/skills/uploadfile/SKILL.md -o .claude/skills/uploadfile/SKILL.md

# Cursor
mkdir -p .cursor/skills/uploadfile
curl -fsSL https://www.uploadfile.dev/skills/uploadfile/SKILL.md -o .cursor/skills/uploadfile/SKILL.md

Other agents can read the same file from its URL. Save it wherever your agent loads skills, or include the link in your prompt.

Add image uploads to this app with Uploadfile. Read https://www.uploadfile.dev/skills/uploadfile/SKILL.md and follow it. Accept up to 4 images of 4 MB each, only for signed-in users, and show the uploaded images on the page. UPLOADFILE_TOKEN is already in .env.local.

Put UPLOADFILE_TOKEN in your environment file yourself. Don't paste API keys into a chat with an agent.
